This unit gives students the opportunity to:
The assessment task is divided into three parts.
Part A (10)
requires students to explain causation, consequence or change in relation to the topic being studied.
Part B (20)
requires students to undertake limited research and complete an enquiry question.
Part C (20)
requires students to analyse and evaluate three representations.
This unit is worth 25% of the total marks, and so it will be allocated approximately 25% of the total time for this GCSE.
You will study elements of this period together as a whole class, then you will carry out personal research and prepare answers to Parts A - C
that will be used under exam conditions when you complete your assessment.
